Listen to voters, not corporate donors As a state, Alaska has no control over the price of oil. We are at the mercy of worldwide pricing forces that do not care whether we have adequate services in Alaska. (Of course, we have many state legislators such as Sen. Pete Kelly who seem to feel the same way, so maybe this is no big surprise).
