| Updated: Woman dead after fight, apparent stabbing in south Fairbanks Fairbanks police responded to a call about two women fighting at the Alaska Motel, 1546 S. Cushman St. at 11:56 a.m. One of the women had stab wounds. The Fairbanks Fire Department transported the woman, identified as Jeanette E. Miller, 57, to Fairbanks Memorial Hospital, where she later died.
